So I made this meal with my neighbors son's eating over. Well this meal was a big hit. Hubby wants me to make this again and soon! I really liked the flavors and how everything complimented each other. The recipe didn't call for the sauce but I will give the directions for that as well and how I tweaked the sauce.
Gooseberry Patch Cookbook: Ready Set Eat
Page: 12
1/4 cup give or take soy sauce ( I use reduced sodium)
2 cloves garlic, pressed or crushed 4 tsp. lemon juice 2 tsp. sugar
4 6 oz. salmon fillets 1 Tbsp. pepper 1/4 cup olive oil ( I use EVO)
1) Combine first 4 ingredients in a plastic ziplock bag; add salmon. Refrigerate for 10 min. Remove salmon from bag; discard marinade.
2) Pat dry; press pepper into both sides of fish.
3) Heat oil in a large heavy skillet over med. heat; saute salmon 2-3 min. per side, or until it flakes easily.
4) Drain on paper towels.
1/3 cup heavy whipping cream 2 Tbsp. lemon juice dash of salt and pepper dash of garlic powder dash of Mrs. dash
Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Whisk until cream becomes thick the constancy of whipped cream. When stiff peaks form then your perfect with this. Place about 2 Tbsp. on top of fish. This is if you desire to do this.
